About

A little bit about the farm…

At the heart of Forget Me Not Honey is our passion for beekeeping and producing pure, organic, and unpasteurized wildflower honey. Nestled in Lanark Highlands, we are dedicated to working in harmony with nature, ensuring our bees thrive in a healthy and sustainable environment. Each jar of our honey is a reflection of the diverse wildflowers that bloom across our land, bringing you a taste that’s rich, natural, and truly unique.

While honey is at the core of what we do, we also raise sheep and beef on our farm. Our livestock are cared for with the same respect and commitment to sustainability that guide our beekeeping practices. By fostering a balanced ecosystem, we ensure the health of our land, animals, and pollinators.

Whether you’re savouring the floral notes of our honey or sampling our farm-raised lamb or beef, we invite you to be part of our journey toward a more nature-connected way of farming.

A little bit about our storey…

In 2015, with a big dream and, dare we say, a little too much ambition, we purchased the property that would become Forget Me Not Honey Farm. The homestead needed a lot of work, but the bones were good, and we couldn’t have asked for a better community to move into. Both my husband and I come from the heritage field, so taking on this project was a dream come true.

Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts into restoring the land and building a sustainable farm that reflects our love for nature and history. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. Raising our two boys on this beautiful 80-acre property, with its rolling hills, freshwater springs, a lovely stream, meadows, bush, fields, and pastures, has been an absolute joy.

Forget Me Not Honey Farm is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and a deep respect for the land. We take pride in every jar of honey and every step we’ve taken on this journey, and we are so grateful to be part of such a welcoming and supportive community.
